Because of your generous donations of nonperishable food and money, our Food Pantry was able to assist 346 individuals and/or families last year with approximately 850 bags of groceries. Thanks for helping, and please continue to contribute!
The next opportunity is at Masses this weekend. It is the first weekend of the month, part of our Divine Providence initiative. So we invite you to bring food items to place in a basket on the altar during the Offertory Procession at both Masses.
They are in the back seat. Please take only the envelopes with your name. Envelope numbers are assigned to a specific family or individual to ensure you get proper credit for your contributions.
And your number may be different than this year because we re-alphabetized the list for 2023. If you don't see your name on any, you can sign the clipboard to request a set of envelopes.
The 2023 church calendars are bilingual and highlight various saints and feast days throughout the new year. Thanks to Los Potreros and Fiesta Grande Mexican restaurants for sponsoring our calendars!
You helped make it a brighter Christmas for 47 children! Plus, as we were decorating the church for Christmas, we received a donation of several additional toys and were able to extend our gift-giving to even more families.

A special collection at our Masses on March 12 and 13 was for the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Anyone wishing to still make a donation can place it in an upcoming offertory collection (clearly marked as designated for Ukraine assistance), or you can donate through Catholic Relief Services at www.crs.org .
The diocese says we can end the precautions that were taken due to COVID-19, except for the distribution of the wine at Holy Communion. Father Hugo says the end of precautions will apply to those who are vaccinated. Anyone who is not vaccinated is still asked to wear a mask during Mass.
